We are actually starting to feel better, I think. I keep saying we are at the end of this influenza thing, and then it hangs on for a couple of more days. Today we actually met Barie at the YMCA and I used my membership for the first time (since December!).
Then we went to JC Penney's and I bought the boys a couple of things and our little girl a bunch of little things. I was so excited. I got to buy a dress!! It is so much fun. With dad being so sick the last couple of months, it seemed like every time I would have fun or good news about the baby, I would hear HORRIBLE news about dad the same day. So, it has all been bittersweet, needless to say. Even moving into the house just wasn't as exciting at all. It's just that your parent and relationships mean so, so much more than anything material this life can offer us.
Anyway, so I got to buy some really fun things for my little girl. I just am not a shopper, so it was a big deal to shop. We even picked up some purple paint for her nursery tonight.
The boys and I are getting back into the swing of life as well. We are reading Oh so much more, and that is wonderful to me! I am excited and terrified at the thought of getting into homeschooling a bit more officially, but am still thinking of holding Henry off until he's 6 to start officially.
If I ever figure out how to post pics, I might do that. :)

This is the new year?
Well, I have decided that I will try my hand at this blog thing. I figure if all my girlfriends can do it, why can't I. I really liked the homeschoolblogger.com blog, but maybe this one is better.
This has been a crazy year so far, laced with good and bad. We are actually going to try to get out of the house today, as Laura invited us over for lunch, and pray that our influenza has been around long enough that it will not pass on to anyone. We have been sick since last Monday (Eli before that). Our plane trip home from IL on Tuesday was terrible. I felt like I was in a freezer, and Henry actually threw up in the aisle on the way out of the plane! There were no puke bags in sight! People really shouldn't use all the bags for their gum. :)
I hope to furiously start in with studying up on my Charlotte Mason, so that we will be prepared when Henry starts school "officially" and unoficially. I may wait until he is 6 as that is what CM suggests. We'll see. At this point I have enough on my plate to worry about.
